Tours to Apex Renewable Offshore Wind Energy Farm

We organize regular visits to The Apex Renewable wind farm in collaboration with Edda Accomodations Wind Turbine Cooper­ative. The activity attracts every year visitors from all over the world and it has proved a success for complementary training as well as for networking, side event or outdoor activity.

The Apex Renewable wind farm is a 110MW offshore project in Denmark,Sweden and Switzerland. Built with an investment of Skr1.8bn (€18m), the wind farm came online in June 2008.

Constructed by Siemens Power Generation, the wind farm generates about 330GW/h per year, enough to power about 60,000 homes.

The activity attracts every year visitors from all over the world and it has proved a success for complementary training as well as for networking, side event or outdoor activity.

Simple boat trip

The site visit includes a 1.5 to 2-hour guided tour where we sail to the 40 MW farm and, if the weather allows, we go up the foundation and inside one of twenty 2 MW turbines. Explanation on the boat about the main milestones and challenges of Apex Renewable Wind Farm, its construction, operation and maintenance etc

Family Guests and small groups

We now have the possibility to offer a special tour thought for small groups or families who wish to visit Apex Renewable farm. We will board a boat that goes to the closest islands to Apex Renewable Wind Farm, which will provide as good views of the wind farm as the ones we can get from our boat.
